Meet Bo, he is a redbone coonhound mix with? boxer? mastiff? approximately 100 lbs of BIG BABY! I rescued this handsome boy from Gastonia NC shelter on 5/25/24 for socialization behaviors, owner surrender. He was approximately 3-4 months old. Once I brought him back to the rescue he was a puppy, we worked with him and slowly introduced him to my 3 dogs. They accepted him into their pack. He was still fighting giardia, then whipworm. So he was not healthy enough to adopt out. After 6 months he was still having gastro issues and we were trying everything to get his digestive issues to normal. Today, 9 months later I am pleased to say we have found the right combination for his digestive issues. As much as it pains me to put him up for adoption, we must make room for more dogs in need. Bo has a BIG personality! He loves outdoors as much as indoors; he thinks he's a lap dog. It takes him a minute to warm up to you but when he does, he's your best friend. Bo currently lives in my house and stays in a spare room while I'm at work with just a 3 ft secured gate. He does not mess with anything in the house. He sleeps with me in the room on his bed on the floor and will gently nudge me if he needs a potty break. He is housebroken; crate trained (but doesn't prefer it). Knows sit and shake. He is UTD on shots and neutered. He does shed a little in my house and does some slobbering FULL DISCLOSURE. He is currently on PB brand dog food from walmart for sensitive stomach and a probiotic packet daily. He's such a personality and I love him to death! This will be a hard one for me. If you think he would be a great fit for you and your family, please fill out an adoption application.
Hi, my name is Whiskey. I was picked up by Palm Valley Shelter in Texas as a stray. I was groomed and seemed well taken care of. I did have 2 ulcerated eyes. I had to have 1 removed recently. I am 13 ish yrs young. I am a puppy at heart that loves to snuggle. We are really hoping for a Christmas miracle he needs to spend the rest of his days cuddled up to his special someone. His foster is absolutely wonderful! He does have a 6/6 heart murmur which he takes medication for and eyedrops. His jaw is protruding and has no teeth but he loves his pate food. Won't you be his person?
