We Believe in a Better World Saving Animals One Paw At A Time
About Us
Hi, my name is Laura, I live in North Carolina. My rescue is dedicated to my late rescue dog Sophia who passed in 2017 of renal failure. I am a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue who relies SOLEY ON DONATIONS. In late 2023 I was drawn to a very sad Facebook page called saving the dogs of San Antonio, these were dogs that were up for euthanasia due to no fault of their own. The average time in the shelter was 3-5 days hardly enough time to even be seen much less adopted out. It was clear that the problem was much larger than I realized, dogs are being "dumped" in rural areas and waiting there for their owners that would never return. They are being left out in the elements to fend for their selves, even pregnant and nursing mothers who were already emaciated and still trying to feed their pups. That's when I decided I have to do more, not only in Texas but the problem exists in many areas all over the country. My vision is to not only save the existing animals but to spay/neuter as many as we can to help stop the overpopulation. Won't you please consider joining our cause by donating, fostering or adopting an animal in need. Thank you, and together we can stop animal abuse and find loving homes that every animal deserves.

4/21/24 APOLLO HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME
Meet Apollo, he is about 8 months old he was found underneath a trailer in Donna TX covered in fleas and apparently run over by a car. No one stopped to help. I saw his picture on fb with an urgent plea I asked a local to take him to the vet, move forward a couple weeks . He had his eye removed, has a pin in his broken jaw, has broken bones in his nose we thought he was hearing impaired but when the swelling went down he regained his hearing.. Thank you to everyone involved from John bringing awareness to the situation and Aracely for being a wonderful human being and transporting this pup an hour to the vet. Also a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PLEDGE SUPPORTERS. ON 4/21/24 HE FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME.
